The Heist p15 – Pulling The Rug
Huge, triple-Decker apologies for the long wait between posts. I blame my latest animation contract, the 60-hr working week it demanded and subsequent comas on the weekends. Blaaarg.
I do hope the increasing violence over the next few pages will make up for it all 😀
Violence is good. Violence with awesome art and story is better! I been reading for a long time, just wanted to tell you I really enjoy your work.
At first I read “you are” in the fifth panel as something he said, meaning that she was in the room with him. But then I realised that it was she, meaning that he was right about what he said. I guess I just found it so much more likely that the glib one would keep talking during violence. But apparently the bookslap was enough to shut him up for a few panels. 😉
Hard to believe that anything could shut him up, but there you have it.
